Post subject:  Marine Topography Not Showing

I have a Triton 400 and Topo! with NG Back Roads Explorer 3D. Maps load great, but topographic data around islands and in any ocean areas that I map cannot be seen. This information is not super important to me but the island, for example, shows one edge with a coast line but the other edge as a straight line, which cuts off the coast line.

Is there any way to get the entire maps I load to show, including ocean topography?

Best regards,
Thanks for any advise.

Joe: I have posted repeatedly about coastline cut-off issues; you can do a search to find the postings. I also spoke with NG about it. The last firmware upgrade improved the visibility of the coast in my area (California) a great deal, but there are still major aspects of land along inland water areas which are cut-off (e.g., inside San Francisco Bay). I presume this is the same problem that you are having. I notified NG via email about this but never heard back. The maps as transferred to the Triton are apparently fully intact regarding the details because when the map in the Triton is exported to VantagePoint and viewed there, all details are visible. It is thus a Triton problem, presumably having something to do with the relationship between the imported map and the basemap.
