GPS: Triton 400
I've installed my TEX and exported the super quad area I've exported to my 400 over the USB cable that came with the gps, but when I try to enable the topo map on the gps, it has a red X blocking it.

What gives?

It looks like this normally happens when maps have been copied from one gps to another and this ensures protection from copying map from one gps to another, but this is the unit the program directly exported to the gps over the USB cable. It's not copied.

BTW my Yahoo hybrid RMP's and detailed maps I've made from Mapsend work flawlessly.

What's going on here?

Possibly an incomplete compiling of the map file or a corrupt file. Delete the file and try again.

I tried deleting and reloading a couple times, I suspect there may be an error with the triton ID not allowing the map to verify.

I am having the same issue. I have been trying for the last week to load NG Topo maps on the T400 and I always get the red X and the message that the maps are not authorized for this device message. Has anyone gotten this to work yet?
