Can anyone with SDHC-Cards retry the mod with reformatting the SDHC-Card to FAT32 with 32K-Clusters at first?

Command:
format d: /FS:FAT32 /A:32KB
where d: is the SDHC-Card (insert your drive here)

No, not really.
The latest mod is RC11 and you can find it here:

Could you please post which brand, which size and which exact model of SDHC-card you tried?

I did an update mainly because I can not live without my 16 GB card (my Ozi alone takes over 5 GB) so I had to do a fix for all of you:
TritonMOD R3 RC12 fixed.7z @ megaupload.com
Note that this is an RC (Release Candidate) and not a full working final release.
Developers Corner Disclaimer applies.

Requests:
SDHC card boot issue - should work with all cards now.
Bootscreen: added text that user has to choose
Bootscreen can be disabled by renaming or deleting the bootscreen folder
Magellan Navigation icon should lead to a hard reset (clean booting) - as long as it isn't fully fixed I agree.

What else?
Enhanced tools tab
Sometimes, usually when under heavy load and task switching the mod crashes. Tried to do a fix (early development state)
This was the problem mentioned by Black-Jack-Team in the next posts and is fixed in the files above!

Question:
Can someone prove that .NET CF 3.5 is working properly?
I would need it to get Wherigo Player running. Or is it a different problem why the player isn't working?

Greetings, Peter

Thank you for the new release! :)

Which card are you using (brand, size, exact model)?
and
How did you manage it?

I tried to get PocketPicture to work with RC 11 (from MioPocket 2.0 R46) but it said that the detected .NET-Version is too old.
So i guess that our .NET-reg-file is not correct or sufficient for our Mod and the programs instead detect parts of the .NET CF 1.0 which is brought by Maggie.

EDIT: The program that didn't work with .Net CF 3.5 was PocketPicture. I corrected this above.

I detected a serious BUG!

The Magellan Original Software doesn't start from the modified RC12 bootscreen.

Your code:
Code:
#####################
# MAGELLAN NAVIGATION
#####################

BITMAPBUTTON
x = 0
y = 0
#Command =
Width = 240
Height = 187
BitmapNormal = Magellan.bmp
BitmapPushed = Magellan-On.bmp
QuitOnExecute = 1
doesn't do the job. :sad:

BTW: Enjoy Memory from page Tools/Settings is not readable on screen. And my chinese is really bad. ;-)

Sorry, I messed it up in the last second before releasing the update!
Extract this file to the root of your sd-card.

Greetings, Peter

EDIT: I have updated the full file in my post above.
EDIT2: Enjoy Memory is a "classic" which is only available in chinese.

I just downloaded the newly updated file 'TritonMOD R3 RC12 fixed.7z' and unpacked the entire zip to my SanDisk 8GB SDHC-Card.

I was able to achieve the following:

Starting WinCE:
- Successful booted the mod from the boot-menu (looks nice!)
- started Igo8 with sucess (map being used is about 145mb)
- OziExplorer also started without problems (Google-Sat-Image with about 168mb)
- Able to start a 35mb video (viewed the entire video to verify, the video is fully loaded, I also skipped forward and backwards excessively)
- Word Viewer firstly encountered an internal viewer error, but worked after reboot
- PPT-Viewer also did its job
- PocketPaint also works now (creating a new image/new file also worked)
- Hotkeys (keyboard and task-manager) work as they should
- also the ON/OFF-button on the right - including suspend-mode
- Did I mention the working flashlight? ;-)

Starting Magellan Navigation:
- Does its job, while starting from the boot-menu
- also works, when started from the mod (window pops up ".... a clean boot is required").
I tried several mapfiles successfully (just to check, the read from the SDHC-card works)
---
Summary: It seems that - at least for my SanDisk 8GB SDHC-Card - the latest patch does its job - well done!!

No more comments? :?:
RC12 should run on all SDHC-Cards now! :-D
Did you try it again? :?:

What do you miss?
- WhereIGo-Player (don't know if possible)
- Cachewolf (maybe possible on Tritons, runs on other PNAs)
- TomTom Navigator (maybe possible on Tritons, runs on other PNAs)

Who has Geocaching related stuff for excel, which can work with SpreadCE? Please contribute.

Is the RC12 downloadable as one package? If yes, I will host it.
