Using the latest firmware and the latest mod
I have run into the following problem.
At the boot screen where you choose
which app. to start including the magellan software,
I choose magellan.
Then it tries to boot.
I get an 'internal error need to restart after saving
or something like that' Then it reboots
into the magellan software ok.

Anyone else have this?
Any ideas?
Thanks
FS

It is the new "systemhealth.exe" which disturbs the mod. Also the screenshot application does not run with it.

I therfore disabled the initial load of systemhealth.exe by removing the aproppriate line in startup.xml.

I do not recomend to remove this application if anybody had errors in the past, becaues this systemhealth.exe shuts down the other apps properly and reboots the unit in case of errors.

So if you remove the systemhealth.exe and you get an error, data loss could happen when you need to remove the batteries...

Same here... :???: I'm sure the Mod gurus will come up with a solution to fix this little annoyance. :-D

Same problem here, but what is worse for me is that IGO8.3.2 does not boot up all the way anymore. Does IGO work for anybody else?

EDIT: I got IGO to work again by copying the files back onto the SD card. Something may have got corrupted? You never know how much you miss something until you lose it. I sure could have used it this weekend.

Because the screenshot application for the Magellan Software doesn't work with the new firmware, you have to

edit \SDMMC\TritonMod\TritonMod.ini
Code:
[FirstRun]
FirstRunSetup=1
Magellan=1

[Skin]
Skin=Vista240x320
StartPage=Navigation

[Apps]
TimeSync=1
; If this is set to 1 Magellan Navigation will start the next time directly
Magellan=0
; Set to 1 to launch ScreenShot utility at startup and set to 0 to deactivate
ScreenShot=0

ScreenShot=0 is the right entry for new firmware!

Greetings from Germany

I didn't get cachewolf to run, but...
- there should be a EWE-Version that runs on Win CE 5.0
- there is a EWE-cachewolf for PDA version that runs on Win CE 5.0
unless the hints in the geoclub.de which got it run on another PNA i had no luck.

Possible solution for the future:
- EVE (not EWE !) runs on the MOD R4 unless no support for it at now
so as cachewolf is at the end (in future) working with EVE afaik it will run with Triton MOD. :)

Sorry, but no, not me anymore.
I won't put any effort in this. (Adaption of cachewolf)
I'm using on my other PDA (HTC Touch HD) GCzII http://www.nicque.com/PQz/GCz.htm (freeware) now.
For me it's the best Geocaching Software for Windows Mobile and i don't use Cachewolf anymore.

Sorry, but no!

It runs only on Windows Mobile until now and the author has no plan to adapt it to Windows CE.

PS.: The name of the application is GCzII and it can be found here:
http://www.nicque.com/PQz
The forum for this application is here:
