Hi everyone...

On request here is my current version compatible with firmware 1.71:

TritonMod R4.01 (uploaded.to)
TritonMod R4.01 (SpeedShare.org)

Same rules as always apply. Read: Dev Corner Disclaimer *READ THIS*

I changed two things:
- ToCopy.mscr: screenshot app is now on second pos
- MagellanNavigation.mscr: screenshot app gets killed at the end

I did it this way because:
- it was the easiest way
- the screenshot app will still work while running the mod

Have fun!

Peter

Hello Peter,
yeah, nice work! :-D

Please:
- Open up a new thread with this R4
- Some details about the mod would be nice
(little how to, working software) for new users
- Can you give us a change log for old modders

Thank you very much! :-D

I made some screenshots...

I like the new version!! unless you mess around with the files on the hdd I can't see how you could mess up your unit.

Every time a new mod comes out it is like Christmas for me and it is like getting a new GPS. Like the new mod keep up the great work.

I have not had any problems using the mods. My GPS works great. Well, better actually.

Can I overlay this over the previous version or do I have
to reinstall all the programs I have put on?
Thanks for your work!

You can copy the new mod R4 savely to your SD-Card cause the mod resides now in a new subdirectory "\TritonMod".
So you can do your editing afterwards.

Please make a hardrest first before using the card (switch Triton off completely).

Nice work Peter !!!

I have tried with a personal mod simpler. I have incorporated a program called TwoNav that allows to work with raster and vector maps. This it is the link:

Because the screenshot application for the Magellan Software doesn't work with the new firmware, you have to

edit \SDMMC\TritonMod\TritonMod.ini
Code:
[FirstRun]
FirstRunSetup=1
Magellan=1

[Skin]
Skin=Vista240x320
StartPage=Navigation

[Apps]
TimeSync=1
; If this is set to 1 Magellan Navigation will start the next time directly
Magellan=0
; Set to 1 to launch ScreenShot utility at startup and set to 0 to deactivate
ScreenShot=0

ScreenShot=0 is the right entry for new firmware!

Greetings from Germany

Hi Black-Jack-Team,

In my understanding, the 'TritonMod'-directory replaces the old 'unlock'-directory, so I completely dropped the latter one.

After this, I tried the new mod on my T1500 with the modifications you mentioned in your update below. Doing this with the new FW 1.49, I wasn't able to boot the mod-menu :-(
